Axioms
Invariants. No compromise.
- Coherence - A valid system remains coherent without human supervision.
- Compensation - Any human compensation conceals structural debt.
- Intent - Capability always precedes implementation.
- Resilience - A system unable to survive its own restart is incomplete.
- Failure - Failure is a structural signal, never an exception.
- Asynchrony - Global synchronization is a human illusion.
- Communication - Communication is a law, not a mechanism.
- Observation - A non-observable state does not exist.
- Promise - Any promise not logically guaranteed is noise.
- Simplicity - Any tolerated complexity becomes a delayed failure.
Corollaries:
- A system that relies on frequent runbooks is poorly designed.
- An architecture dependent on human discipline does not scale.
- An abstraction that does not survive stress must disappear.
